| Notes: | Hanael is a bit of an enigma. He is, on the one hand, friendly, sociable, kind, and always ready to help others. But on the other hand, he is mysterious, and at times close-mouthed, brooding, and distant. Most of the time he seems relaxed, comfortable with himself and the world around him, but there is an air of melancholy that shrouds him. His presence can sometimes be overwhelming as there is something quite compelling and intense about him. Despite his youthful appearance he gives off an age-old sense of wisdom, and has been known to randomly speak of things that he should not, by any normal rights, have any knowledge of. Although he has one totally scarred eye and one blind eye, it is apparent that he can see just fine. He offers no explanations to the reasons for this, even if asked. No-one really knows where he comes from, and he does not speak of his past, changing the topic or completely shutting up if pressed. If asked about his scars, he can become quite aggressive if the topic is not left alone, and it's at times like these that he seems dangerous; he has never hurt anyone but he gives a strong impression of being very capable of doing so. However, the overall air of calm that he usually exudes makes people feel quite comfortable in his presence very quickly, and the consideration he shows others has had him referred to as a 'big brother' type more than once. Over time, almost all of the Briah household have come to look up to him and trust him for advice, a position he seems quite comfortable in. And since Khamuel and Kashael have come into his life, he also seems to have finally learned to relax a little, and even be playful at times; almost as if their presence has helped him shake some of the melancholy so long lingering in his heart. |
