Notes: Tashriel is an immortal demon from another plane, from the same place as Rakshi; he is in fact Rakshi's younger brother. Although most demon races seem bound to a single god, and Rakshi's race is primarily connected to a wolf god, a strange twist of fate means that there is the occasional demon born whose soul is bound to that of a brother crow spirit instead. Tashri is one such demon, and he shares many features of the crow god, including a love of high places and a desire for solitude. He is even more unearthly than his older brother, and more tight-lipped as well. His "blind" crow eyes see a very different world to what others see, and he is often much more caught up in that than in what is going on around him. That said, he is also more calm and level-headed than the sometimes hot-tempered Rakshi, and often he is the one who fishes his older brother out of the messes and scrapes that Rakshi invariably finds himself in; once focused on the immediate world he is surprisingly shrewd. The loner wolf and the loner crow make an odd and yet perfectly matched pair, and despite their fundamental differences Tashri and Rakshi's lives have long been closely intertwined; it is very difficult to try and untangle or make sense of the almost symbiotic relationship they share. When Rakshi arrived with us, whether by accident or design, it was only a matter of time before Tashri followed.
